@jacob-l It is extremely frustrating. Especially because I feel that many people are simply starting to accept this bad behavior as the typical order of business in America. We have to stand up and demand our freedoms! I am tired of hearing “Politics is corrupt as usual” and “Bush did it too.” This kind of behavior is unacceptable for all political parties. No matter if you are a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, or undecided, this should be OUTRAGEOUS to you.
All the news, I am hesitant to say facts, about these ‘scandals’ are now coming to the surface and WE THE PEOPLE are now being let into the seemingly, nasty-world of politics.
With a mostly Liberal-Democratic controlled administration under Obama are these ‘scandals’ – political discrimination, just politics or a combination of the two?
In my opinion, we have become far too accustomed to writing off unacceptable behavior on either side of the political agenda as ‘Just Politics’.
In the end these actions come full circle and effect us, The People.
The IRS is paid by US! Our tax dollars are being put hard to work to excel a political agenda. Does that not infuriate you?
Wouldn’t you have liked that extra money? May an extra date for your girlfriend, new pair of shoes, money for better brand of diapers, etc.
I believe it is time We The People started calling it how it is…. just as we would if it was any professional: such as a doctor, lawyer, accountant, etc.
If the Government has mismanaged and misused our monies that is disgorgement, gross negligence, fraud, and the list goes on.

@jacob-l The entire government is simply un-imaginable is size and scope.
No one can possibly manage it and it has developed so many overlapping and contadictory functions that until it is completely redesigned there is no hope.Period.
There is ,however a VERY effective management tool to resolve the problem.
Zero based budgeting.
Simply put, instead of an ever growing budget ,staff and objective, each year or other short period that may reasonably be determined the agency/entity must ,starting with the premise that they have no goal or budget come before congress and justify their existance, requirement for funds, future goals and staffing requirements.
If at that procedure they cannot make the case to the Congress/American People the agency ceases to exist and we go to the next order of business.
@gary – this would be a very effective way to resolve this matter. I agree our Government has because the complete opposite of what it should be.
While that strategy would be effective, do you think it is simply too unrealistic to implement?
What are your thoughts on creating a Governmental body whos sole task is to go through each of the current entities and decide which ones should divert back to a state-run program, in accordance with the Constitution?
(in order to not add to the problem, there would need to be a time limit set on the existence of this entity or allow a private corporation to take on this task)
@two cents – exactly! How can we come up with a better way for people to express their voice? How can the PEOPLE actually be heard?
I am no longer confident in, quite frankly, any body in office. How can we divert from a Representative Democracy to actually being heard?
New voting systems? Government run polling through post offices and dmvs?
There must be a way that We The People can let our voices be heard in between election dates.
