Prayers and money can both go a long way for the suffering. I know after the West explosion, the officials announced while all donations are helpful, the most efficient donation is money. And I figure you can never send enough prayers.

US News was nice enough to list several ways we can contribute to the relief aid.

Such a horrible tragedy. We just can’t catch a break, lately. Thoughts go out to all affected. Donate if you can!

Text REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10 to Oklahoma tornado relief; shows up on your phone bill. Also Salvation Army is in there helping. So is Operation USA and the Oklahoma Baptist Relief Fund. You can donate online to them. #PrayForOklahoma

Seems like America can’t get a break right now. Simple donations would help the most.

Lots of prayers and continuing to spread the word on the best ways to donate and to get the word out about what kind of help is needed.

As an Okie, although a Tulsan, I would recommend donations to charities as the best way to help, besides obviously prayer. There are a lot of charities to choose from that are very good, and you don’t have to donate to him, but hearing Glenn Beck make his way from Dallas to Moore today was quite the gesture on his part. Not everyone has his means or ability to travel, but he at least was willing to put his principles in action. Verify a good charity who has feet on the ground, and please give however you can.

The American Red Cross is a great organization. They provide shelter, food, and clothing to those in need.

91% of donations go directly to victims (an awful lot compared to many other high profile charities).
